ik this setting doesn't work mid game
i've set it here, loaded into the game and cheched by typing mat_dxlevel and it was on 95 alr
idk why but dx level changer in launcher doesn't work at all
it changes numbers but not dxlevel himself
and yeah sorry for quality, i still not at home and my internet is 15mbit/s

is this using the map's original light or did you spawn one in the toolkit and crank up the volumetric influence

i spawn on platform and can walk, jump there etc
but when i fall or noclip down to the grass - game is crashing
on construct - the same. But spawns are random, some of them are closer to the grass
so like 50% i will crash as i load into the map

It is possible to automate the whole process if you can help me with the code. The batch renaming script took me like 30 minutes to explain to goog ai.
i imagine the biggest issue with automation is knowing what weapon = what texture hash
Everything is predictable so I can just export the textures, shove them all in the script and it spits out ready to ingest textures
No, I can ingest myself. That takes like 2 minutes. (Assign texture set my beloved)
Texture hashes is not the issue.
In fact the whole remix side takes 5 minutes tops
The hard part is taking the ripped textures
And then turning them into something that remix can ingest.
Like the ripped textures are baked into multiple channels and stuff
I have softwares to do all that
ah so its not individual textures from the game
i dunno if i can help with that directly, i'd have to try the whole process myself to get familiar

i think xess 2.1 SR looks a lot better, but this is also probably due to me refactoring mip bias, jitter sequence lengths, and better texture filtering

the only addon that i have that messes with the skybox is the HDRI Editor
it looks like its using the water texture since i see refraction, i dont think its the HDRI editor lol, thats under your feet (is also invisible)

yeah i wanted to see the rtx mod that I downloaded for it a while ago but it has alot of texture glitching lol
checked console and it was already set to 0
yeah its off, but the actual geometry will continue to render wherever its placed in the map, this is because we're forcing the engine to render everything, so all areaportals are open, including detached parts of the map (the 3d skybox)
since its patched in the engine, there is no easy way to fix this

hopefully in the near future we can find some sort of way to hide it, but i dont have quite an idea how yet
unless 3dskybox assets are flagged in a special way, i cant see how it could be fixed.
we'd need a way to control areaportals while still preventing culling. would require something on the binary module end to achieve.
unless rubat adds some kind of magic lua function which can control which part of the map renders

anyways rtx for gmod is the most perfect thing for screenshots man
you could call it an interactive offline 3d renderer (minus caustics)
