What CPU do you got? I went from an i7 7700k to i9 14900k and it made maybe 5-10 FPS difference (with a 3080 10Gb)
Of course thermals are holding me back, that sucker gets hot as hell without good cooling and a GPU at 99% usage

i downloaded the rtx launcher, put it in a folder in my steam apps/common named gmod rtx, run as administrator and it worked just fine
up until trying to install that toolkit from nvidia
and trying to install mods
the toolkit is used to create remix mods, you don't need it to install em to your game
the mod from jason worked still fine

but if you are putting things through the ai upscaler and then creating textures with heightmaps, and then slapping it into default gmod, it wont do anything because it doesnt know what to do with it

I know the hashes are diffrent becasue of the gmod exe and things like that but were they ever updated?
we went back to the old hash system so yes they still work
this has no remixed assets by the way. I might ai upscale them, but for now this map runs at 30-20 fps on my computer; and i dont think it would do any better with PBR'd assets.

yeah but a lot of fixes that rely on lua wont be active so it will not be a great experience
this may change with the future if we can inject everything externally but that's not something that is being worked on at the moment
