The only thing you'd probably have to change is rtx.useObsoleteHashOnTextureUpload = True to rtx.useObsoleteHashOnTextureUpload = False
nothing else in the config should affect replacements from showing
theres a lot of changes in the configs though

like, that file isnt even in his config

standard one does not allow for his pbr materials of weapons to load
but his config does not allow for any other replacesments to load
probably shouldnt be using this config anyway
since rtx.useObsoleteHashOnTextureUpload isnt in that rtx.conf, it means they made it for new hashes only

- because remix cant convert those in realtime, you'd have to manually add those back using the remix toolkit
- if you have an addon that modifies particles, those either have to be manually fixed by editing VMT files or just disabling the addon

its the physgun color sprite, there isnt any permanent way of hiding it at the moment

but if it is dying its because im quite literally suffocating it with my ryzen 5 1500x
1500x is definitely a big cpu bottleneck, large maps will make the game run with single digits

this looks fine to me, remember, remix has to convert source engine lights to something remix can use so its always going to look different than the original game

because the light entites are inside the model, it only shows in remix for some reason lmao

idk we havent really explored that much with the water replacement, but im not even sure if remix can add some kind of water fog
if it can look like real life then u can just grab it from cshade or whatever its called
reshade
its like field of depth or some shi like that

depth doesnt work correctly with remix so reshade cant do much there
