I think I know what the problem might be, RR is meant to be enabled with DLSS, you’re using FSR and it’s using that to try and denoise
Might be better with FSR 4
not to mention the nvidia driver specifically handles RR as its own model

if you look closely without RR when you move left or right the shadows at the edges also move (probably ghosting) it was a huge headache for me before RR update, I couldn't stopped noticing it

Also, I noticed when shadows do catch up, with RR they look sharper than without, unless I’m tweaking

i said it a few times before, im pretty sure im in RTX 5080 or 4070 ti territory in PT perf
and this is with an unofficial FSR mod

And undervolting a XT just 
Maybe instead of factory overclocks, manufacturers should do factory undervolts
I left my gpu at stock
i got mine knowing i'd be undervolting it, the base 9070 is a lot more binned than the XT
because of lower power draw
thank god the rest of the specs between both GPUs is largely the same 
idk if the 4070 ti super can get closer to a 4080
power draw and temps are very good already anyway
the highest gaming temps I've seen is 67C
i believe the base 9070 is around the same

afaik DLSS doesn't use CUDA, just tensor which is a AI core and RDNA 4 AI cores can do RR so why not DLSS especially with support for all the things like fp16 fp8 int8, etc

I think i figured it out
we're hooking shaderapidx9 dynamically when loading a level, without any kind of safeguards. This is probably leading to an invalid d3d9 device pointer that remix will later try to use
api lights and model hooks have been working for me for a while and then i got hit with the same crash issues people had last night
so im debugging this shit as much as i can before it magically starts working again

i think rtx remix renders everything on 3d, that probably means the flashlight too, you might notice that if you get close enough into a wall, it will cut off the viewmodel of the weapon as well (most visible with the gravity gun i think). no idea if that's very fixeable

if you want lights to be stable, go into the geometry debug view ingame and find a stable hash, then ref all lights in the toolkit to that object so they're anchored in the world

i dont really recommend it, but x64 renders the world in a different way and you can pretty much anchor lights to any world geometry
as long as capture mode is enabled before capturing
and it's all jittery and stuff, lol

as surething said, there is a bunch of replacements from the hl2rtx demo that don't have any assets, leading to gray textures
so this is quite normal
if you're getting gray textures on supported maps like ravenholm, you need to unpack the assets

Honestly I do feel if nvidia wants to make rtx remix be even more a genuine source of graphics modding then they should try invest in making it way way way more viable for other gpus other than base level support, like native support for other upscaling solutions and optimized settings for those other cards, u get what I mean?
i can make it detect the addon id for niknaks in the steam workshop folder, if its not present it will block installation

Ya like it’s only really playable while looking good on nvidia cards, with amd and intel when u just install an rtx remix mod, the experience just stinks if the end user doesn’t further modify remix to make it work like optimized config for amd/intel and optiscaler
Like all of this should already be there in remix

rtx remix is a major leg up on the competition, nvidia has no incentive to make it play nice with other cards

So people can see it as a more viable product
Cause it’s already so niche
Having it harder and worse to run on other companies systems will drive people away
people will see that you need an Nvidia card to experience it, so if they want it, they'll need a Nvidia card
