i thought it was a fancy way of saying that the VRAM used is going above the budget
maybe in normal scenarios but this is because we're forcing more stuff to be rendered in the view frustrum
and source in fixed function does not like it
its mostly down to a map optimization issue tho

there are much larger maps than this that dont run into this issue
idk they've been like that since the transition to x64, you can just ignore the lamp model in remix and then it will look fine

For 0.7 you should try revamp xenthios code to work better with x64

Hello, It would seem that the HDRI Editor Cube doesn't work for me. I installed everything as instructed on the Github page, but nothing happens no matter what I click in the HDRI menu.
Also, I installed the G mod fix so would I put the RTX remix files in there and it should work?

not for all of source's existing assets, but plenty of people have done PBR maps for weapons and stuff
there have also been some maps done but most of the ones published on moddb no longer work due to a garrysmod update changing texture hashes a few months ago
most recent PBR stuff is people porting cod mw pbr maps to mw base

medium preset (it took a bit of fiddling with the material settings to get it to show up)

it disables source world rendering so captures are clean, if disabling it makes everything get culled, something is wrong

So, I installed RTX Remix. I go to click Create, and I set my directories. GarrysModRTX\rtx-remix, and I set the project file location in garrysmod\addons\RTXTest. It will not let me create the project.
it needs to be somewhere in your local user folder, the toolkit cant get the correct write permissions in program files or any directory inside it
such as your gmod install
so make your project folder somewhere like C:\Users\username\rtx-mods
Funnily enough about that, my D Drive just goes D:SteamLibrary, anyway, the local user folder thing didn't work. The rtx-remix directory is still the game install location on my other drive.

remix can remap the original fog volume if you enable the settings
its just off by default
