#Max Sector Progress Issues

I have noticed this more because of Spacemas and the need to travel to other sectors for the event. The issue I am seeing is that currently, sector 142 is my max sector. When I turn on forward movement outside the sector, I quickly reach the end of the sector before getting one shot back to the start of the sector, and finally two shots out of it.

Could something be done so that you don't easily shoot to the end of a sector when your stats don't allow for you to survive in it?

What’s the desired end spot, the end of the sector before? The start? I feel that dying and being pushed back to the last place that you can consistently survive is pretty reasonable, even if it does take a long time sometimes (e.g. if you are running max burst vs a Reactive Armor enemy who will eventually scale up damage high enough to kill your ship, but can take a while)

There are AI upgrades for both Navigate to Sector and Navigate to Distance if you know in advance where you want to end up (eg where you can one-shot the boss)

The desired endpoint is not to go from the start to the end of a sector before your ship has a chance to get fired upon and defeated, which pushes you from the end of a sector to a previous one after you stop getting beaten.

Use navigate to, to reach your desired position instead of just forward movement. For me it's always set to the start point of the sector

What your suggestion boils down to is slower travel through zones and I don't think you really want that
