As it stands, the spacemas event, while fun, offers no real reason to use the reactor boost once you have gotten to the current stage of Reactor progression. Not the end of the world, but it is an unfortunate quirk to the otherwise reasonable advice to spread your Giftium around to account for the ever increasing prices to each boost.

None of the Boosts involved apply to power cells in any capacity, as far as my limited testing has shown. I am uncertain as to how such a change would be implemented, as adding a base overdrive speed upgrade directly to the boost itself would in turn increase the charge speeds of the other boosts therein, possibly to an unintended degree

The problem is The loops can get a baseline so buffing it is either going to do nothing 'cause it won't budge you on another upgrade, or it could potentially push you above line you would never be able to get outside of the event and now you're there after wears off too

Hopefully this just doesn't come up again because there will be another thing going on for power cells down the line or something. Or I could just not have a reactor be one of them

Although that partial loop buff is interesting idea I suppose

hmm thinking on it some more, only partials might feel bad because if you just got a loop and cant reach a partial you'd have been in a better spot by holding off on looping. but on the other hand just buffing everything seems too strong since well thats buffing basically everything

maybe instead of buffing od speed, it applies a multiplier to every cell? doesn't matter where you are on partials or how many loops you've completed

If you don't want to have it boost the late-game reactor, would it be better to remove it as an option so, players don't get confused and buy it when it does nothing? Something to consider for other boosts as well if there ever comes a time when they will do nothing.
