Just in case it's not intended behavior - in sector 123 I noticed the phased ships were still dying even though both of my Plasma Chainers were set to "extra chain", and it appears that the chained hits are ignoring phasing altogether.

should be reproducible, couple other users in #sector-117-123 also noticed the same thing

If you overkill a phase ship by I think x10 (deal 10 times more damage per shot than they have max health+shields), phasing is ignored. Maybe it's just that?
