I always seem to forget which loadout I selected - is it possible to maybe change the colour border or something to show which loadout you last clicked?

Also I would like a confirm feature when saving a new load out. I accidentally overwrite my load outs sometimes when I mess up the mouse buttons 🙈

Should only highlight the loadout if it is currently active, not if you make manual changes to modules and v devices. And I agree on the option for confirm on save as well as load

I'd argue that any manual changes should propagate back to the layout, so you have five 'modes' you can switch to and from (and ideally, copy over) without having to worry about saving all the time
