I went offline during a core computing challenge, and no salvage was calculated during that time. As you can see in the screenshot, there is 8+ hours of offline, but no salvage. I can confirm that I was at the same salvage level prior to leaving. I'm not sure if there is a penalty for offline progress, but I was expecting something in the high e20 or low e21 range.
