#Apps menus needs more organization

Here’s how an Android app called Smart Launcher solved the "app list hell" problem -
It uses 6 categories:
Contacts — social and messaging apps
Internet — browsing and online apps
Games — all games
Multimedia — music, video, and photos
Utilities — simple everyday tools
Settings — system, files, passwords, and configuration apps
I really think that would help a lot. For most of my life, I’ve had the “app hell” problem (looking at dozens of different icons and going back and forth through the app list trying to find a needle in a haystack) on both PC and Android, and category sorting solves that.
||i elaborated all that because i really want somebody to implement that so i can actually find apps in my laptop||
Please don't report this to the VOS project as they don't develop the desktop shell nor have the resources to maintain a fork. The proper place to report this is the GNOME Shell project.
