When i attempt to install anything at this point using apx it will come up with an error stating:

sudo: effective uid is not 0, is /usr/bin/sudo on a file system with the 'nosuid' option set or an NFS file system without root privileges?

Not sure how to fix this and not exactly sure when it happened

try this ls -dl /usr/bin/

That was the only line of output that came with that command.

Try ls -al /usr/bin/sudo

#

Your /usr/bin dir has the right permission

#

I'm guessing there was a permission change during a program install. But so far everything looks good
