Hey everyone, newbie here. This is my first time using InvokeAI coming from MidJourney. First impressions are not good but Im thinking 90% is lack of user experience. Firstly it takes ages to render but I think my mac doesnt meet the minimum specs. Im running an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020), AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4 GB I think I need something running the M1 chip? Also the results Im getting dont look good. I not sure if I needed to install more models or something, I do know I didnt install everything. Any help greatly appreciated. 🙂

yup, image generation speed is largely dependent upon your hardware and it's pretty specific about what it wants ... this post in #faq helps explain it: #faq message
as for quality of output, yes it's probably a mix of learning the prompt syntax (there's a post in #faq with a link to Invoke's prompt docs) and maybe trying other models. check out #🎨outdir to see what other people are doing; often times they'll post the model and prompt used 👍
