Hello everyone!

So, in my excitement to get started with this wonderful tool I completely missed the part on the website where it pretty clearly states one needs either an Nvidia or M1/M2 GPU.
I'm (currently) team Red and am just wondering if there is any way in hell to get InvokeAI running on my RX6900XT? I'd hate to have to run everything on device_type cpu.

Thank you for any advice,
cheers!

Unfortunately you need Cuda device preferably I guess Mac can do too.

#

What you can do is to spin up google colab environment and use their cloud GPU which is Nvidia

#

Its free and you get decent GPU, even better if you apply for monthly subscription for Pro version you get faster Nvidia GPU

I have the exact same issue. I completely missed the Cuda requirement. Thanks to AonoZan for the colab suggestion.
