A video by virtual riot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hB12XnUHMpw&t=470s) made me want to recreate this using m4l to be easier to use, better integrated within ableton, look better, and use less CPU (600 instances in a single track before filling my CPU thread, as opposed to 50 instances of VR's rack),
I did a null test (with the sidechain filter off in my device) and got complete silence, so you aren't missing out on anything!

Update 1.2: Added better oscilloscopes, smoothing to reduce the ringmod distrotion, and increased the sidechain gain limit to increase the distortion! Also, lighter DSP, got 600 instances working in series in a single track
