i’m not sure what you mean by “assigned to one half of the keyboard and can be played with the other half”

this allows you to separate instruments or midi effects onto specific key ranges

Thanks for the answer. I meant to say that with one half of the keyboard you select a slice and with the other half you change the pitch.
