Can standalone MOVE usb control computer software midi of Resolume?

Not trying to be in Live Control mode since it doesn’t allow me to play the music and opening Live parallel with Resolume on the computer will make both programs fail.

Sorry for sharing this everywhere but I’m being referred from email, group to group...

Anyone have a tutorial?

In standalone mode with USBc connected, midi OUT turned on, Move reads as midi input on my MacBook Pro Resolume VJ Software, but no pads or knobs or buttons are mapping to it.

Anyone have a solution? Maybe im missing something?

Someone referred USB-A to MacBookPro but it did not connect. I tried and did not see any signal detected.

Case use:

  • standalone
  • drums sample and play audio
  • drums also midi mapped to video projection software so the audio of move can be changed and also be changing the video.

I could also just use a midi channel on one of my tracks like:

drums
bass
vocals
midi

Looking forward to seeing what’s possible; I just met another 2 MOVE makers nyc irl. Sup dudes if you’re in here!

Hey, as already has been answered in the move channel, move does not send midi out over USB-C in standalone mode. You can send midi out in standalone mode, but you will need to use the USB A port and a USB A midi adapter.
