I am absolutely in love with Note. I feel like a power user, having made over 400 beat sketches with it since release. It is so simple, I have made just an astronimical amount of music with my children, and they are addicted to making music BECAUSE of how simple and easy this is to use as a musical sketchpad. Honestly, it's hard to think of anything that could make this better that already has been laid out and communicated.
That being said, it would really be truly wonderful if we had a bit of a feature expansion with our midi clips and be able to do step sequencing! I use note to frequently make sketches before I'm at the studio. It's had a positive impact on my productivity with my livelyhood as a producer. Though, the latency delay that is prevalent with using bluetooth headphones/speakers makes it where just pounding out a beat is very difficult to do with natural musicianship unless I want to use my device speaker. To be able to step sequence into a piano roll and drum rack would make it where every single moment I am not able to sit at my desk or laptop, I can make music as simply as when I'm just casually using my phone or ipad. It would also make things discrete enough where I think it'd fix a lot of doom scrolling habits myself and many others have.
It would be amazing to have note equipped with step sequencing features so that I can discretely sketch out something usable in places that otherwise wouldn't have been possible.
