Beyond the lands of Rinascita stood Ragunna, a thriving port city blessed by the Sentinel and embraced by the sea.
There, civilians and Common Echoes lived beneath the protection of the Order of the Deep, guided by the teachings written within the Codex.
Salvation, Ascension, Unity.
Even before she became an Acolyte, the Echoes had always been close to her.
During the days of her childhood, they had offered her a kindness that never once felt distant, and to her, they were never simply beings placed under her care.
They were dear companions she wished to protect with all the devotion she carried.
And so, no matter who stood against them, she would continue to protect those precious friends with all her heart.
In the present, however, the task entrusted to her that morning had gone slightly unattended.
Just in the nick of time, she arrived as the boat disembarked, with the city bustling around her beneath the morning light.
She stood there looking around with a small smile, as though she had not nearly forgotten the entire assignment only moments ago.
