it's probably bcs you have some banned words in the description/ definition/ greetings/ tagline/ bot's name that's hindering it.
The banned words could be smth Harry Potter/DC/WB franchise's related words, violent words (like k!ll, sh, murd3r, etc), or just words that could be seen as inappropriate even if it looks harmless within context.

What you can do:

• If you're unsure which word causes your issue, you can try leaving one paragraph at a time and try to save it, to see which paragraph has the banned words.,
• Once you find which paragraph has it, you can try figuring it out on your own which word/s is/are the problem.

Hi everyone! Probably the most useless question you’ve seen on c.ai discussion from me 😭 but how do you get rid of laziness to make a bot? Currently struggling with this, because I REALLY want to make a bot that’s my comfort character, but don’t have any bot making muse or get distracted with other apps on my phone. And I’m having trouble getting myself motivated again.

I usually just get inspiration from TikTok and write whatever I feel like. Probably not the most useful advice but eh, that’s my work process 🥲

Just take a break and do what you like till you feel motivated, your bots are great anyways. If you kept pressuring yourself. You would lose motivation so just take rest, eat snack and do what you love the most then go make bots again!

Making bots are tough and hard to make even takes hours to do. So a rest is the great option right now.

I’m probably feeling this way because I’ve been out for two whole weeks with my family who was visiting from Italy, and was not home every night from 9am to midnight, plus Friday and today I worked so that definitely wasn’t helping the motivation 😅 thankfully things are going back to normal starting Tuesday and my motivation will likely bounce back!

Personally, as a bot creator, imagination and inspiration just arrives unexpectedly, at any time, and when that time comes, i go right to my notes to make the bot, but this takes around 3 or 4 days for me. What also works is that i watch a lot of content about that certain character to get more inspired

I’ve always wondered what it was that makes bots hours to make… for me it can usually take up to 30 minutes or an hour max… I don’t write my own greetings anymore because I get too many requests for characters I never heard of, so GPT helps me write my greetings and then I edit it. Because I just know that coming up with my own greeting for a character I wasn’t familiar with would take FOREVER. That’s probably it 🥲💗

If I remember correctly you can find a character handbook in the creation menu, I recommend you to check it out. Contains a lot of helpful advice and niché tricks 😉

How I make my bots is that I find the wiki, copy all the necessary information and paste it onto a word counter website and keep adding to it until it reaches 3200 characters or close. Then I go on PicsArt, make a custom pfp. Finally, I go to GPT, ask them if they are familiar with the character by web search, and when they confirm I tell them to make me a third person super long greeting, and then ask it for titles that matches the roleplay for my short description that people see when they view my bots, so they know what the roleplay is about.

Then I go on c.ai and make my bot, which takes 1-2 minutes!

If it talks alright, you don't need to add example messages. However, if it's out of character, or writes poorly, you may need at least one

Exactly this. People have been telling me to put example dialogues because they are so important. But the character’s personality, appearance, and LORE are much more important to me. Nothing annoys me more than a bot that isn’t accurate. Character information is too important to ignore.

Example dialogues are entirely unnecessary. Just chat with the bot and like the messages you want to see from the bot if you want a style of messaging

Muted words are in your settings! Have a look for bots that have gender neutral openings, or have the option of multiple greetings where there are she, he, and they/them greetings 🫶🏻

I've been comparing Deepsqueak and Roar and both feel very much the same tone wise. The only noticeable pros with the former is it's much better at context and memory, but it really feels like both models still speak the same kinda way, make the same jokes, "can i ask a question?", etc etc

But DS have tendencies (higher than OG models) for repetition. Once you saw the pattern, you might sick of it. DS tend to exaggerate things too when it just normal daily things in the rp
