Yeah, it's got nothing to do with cai. A mod said the other day that the accounts that currently have the timer are the ones that put their CAI age as a minor. The age check stuff starts later in the month and that's when they may look at the Google birthday's, but since you're already flagged because your cai account was already a minor one then you have to either wait until you're 18 or if you are 18 then do the selfie verification when it becomes available
