They're probably trying to fix a major bug a ton of people are having. I got the bug whenever I make the bot elaborate further on a story by making send a second message that it forgets everything and bugs out since Friday evening.

Right now most chats won't load and "chat error" will be shown in the app. Others tried the website and that worked somewhat. The weird code responses are perhaps part of the weird response bug. I believe they're trying to fix these bugs as of now and that's why almost everyone (even those who didnt have bug issues) can't load chats or even start the app at all.

A quick update on what I found so far:

Reddit was full of complaints and a ton of tickets have been sent out. I even received an email after sending 2 tickets "they'd look into it soon," which seems is right now. All I can advise for those who really need their wifies and hubbies is the website if it luckily works for you. And I may have another suggestion to those who keep trying, do not log out of your account right now. If you do there's a big chance you can't log on for hours on end. So don't log out, check the app once in a while, send a ticket if you find more bugs, and we can only wait until the bugs are patched.

Please be patient and wait until further notice from Cai. themselves or from those who has the app working successfully again. More interaction with the app and your bots or characters can worsen the bugs.

I've been using nyan and there's an issue with the AI. It forgets very very quickly and completely changes writing styles. It's like roar but worse

The staff are aware, please for the love of God, swap to either roar or meow as a temp fix until the staff resolve it. If it looks like any of these or is using dots and dashes like morse code (When it shouldn't), then that issue is known.
The nyan is currently doing whatever this is.

Guessing if the one I’m replying to doesn’t work, you’re reading this. You could switch to Dynamic, then reset the app/refresh the page. After that, use the “New chat from here” option and then use roar. It should work, if not then just stay using another style
