Anyone succesfully enabled a transparent

I've tried a number of startup options and themes but I always get opaque windows. The best I can get is on startup briefly I see a trransparent window then it goes opaque.

I get a transparent splash screen, so thats a step

Tried both running it thru xwayland or regular wayland
