Just like the users of the greatest phones in existence (iPhones) that loooove adding "Sent from my iPhone" to their emails, SentFromMyUname does the same, but for your Linux/macOS(?) machine!
if you are on windows you can probably blow up or you maybe have msys/cygwin/whatever installed which gives you a scuffed uname 
If you're on web or somewhere where uname isn't available, the plugin automatically falls back to useragent. you can also set it to always use your useragent instead.
There is also a channel whitelist that you can use.
If you'd like to disable the plugin for a single message, prefix it with nouname .
