There used to be a bd plugin which did this except it uploaded the LaTeX as an image so everyone else can see it too
and you could preview the katex compiled latex in a popup window whilst you were typing

there seems to be an issue with the plugin but I can't send images so thats great. I've tried to revise everything I could, no latex I write shows up properly, matter of fact those are the same latex texts that used to display properly, they just stopped, I already verified that the plugin is still active btw.

After much trials and tribulations, I figured out the issue. It's just that Vencord switched from allowing imports from unpkg link to allowing imports from jsdelivr links because unpkg went down for a bit. I have a fork here, if anyone want to clone that. Otherwise I'll PR it and hopefully @rocky coral will accept it.

this usually happens when the text node is split into different types, for example when searching for a word which then gets highlighted in the message
