found the issue it was specifically the display: inline-block; being enabled in .timestamp_f9f2ca

hi youre right this is old as hell. ive created a sort of revival of this as a snippet for the "System-24" theme.

this is completely untested without system24, but this is the new one
there are no user variables its moreso a plug in play situation until i go and make user variables

I think you need compact mode on as well as to turn "space between message groups" to 0 in discord settings @sharp mantle
also enable the IrcColors vencord plugin if you want it to look more like the screenshot
