Not like it being on a git page means it can't have malware
What about external fonts in themes?
The big one for me is that my theme uses SCSS, so it needs to be compiled. While there are ways around this, setting up GitHub pages for managing that is a massive bother and a simple on-server ci solution is how I have found to best manage building and distributing the theme.
