#Wireless download of VTX recordings to goggles SD card when not flying

Hi,

The process of copying vtx recordings to the computer is a little cumbersome, with having to power up the drone once back at the pc, plugging in the cable, hoping the copy is fast enough that temperatures aren't an issue, props off, etc.

If instead there was an option to transfer the recordings to the goggles SD card over the wireless link, then this could be done post-flight whilst still outside with a bit more natural airflow, and no need to boot the drone up when getting home.

This also means that losing the little adapter cable is a none-issue, and for people doing a lot of flights in one outing/ long flights, all they need is multiple SD cards instead of a laptop to make more room.

The upload could be accompanied by a big warning and loading bar / no video feed displayed to make sure someone doesn't try to fly whilst the process is ongoing.

The only downside would be less sales of the usbc adapter cable hehe (and development time obviously)

Cheers! 🙂

There is an option to download video files in the new CaddxFPV beta app. I could see the file name, preview didn't work for me, download works but slow.

Those are goggle dvr. The vtxs don't have wifi and the video link is not really designed to transfer files. It would likely not be faster than the usb connection and still requires cooling

Sky side works aswell, somewhat slow. It's a bit of a game changer for me since I have quads where I can't reach the USB connector of the VTX.
