That's what the default AxisAndOhs script does to bring up the menu.

I think the -2 is not important but it makes sure there is no previous choice set

correct but this is not waht i woudl likt to do. Imagin situadion: my pushback direction soft tryching to mach pushback direction from atc instructions, of course everything is heppening in background, gsx menu is not active so icant see it, while is working. in situation where soft cant find mach is opening menu at direction selection and then i asctiveiting gsx menu to open in game and be visible for player to choose direction manualy, like clicking gsx icon in msfs toolbar is there option to do it with current sdk?

That is up to MSFS SDK.
GSX/Couatl can't open a menu if the Toolbar icon is disabled.
