Soft skills
@spare zinc Thank you Aurélien! That's a great point. I'll definitely be working on my soft skills communication, teamwork and confidence especially. Any specific resources or tips you'd recommend?
Not particulary, it's more about you. Who are you now and who do you want to be
Upskilling consistently is needed in today's world, because the technology is rapidly evolving. Let's embark on upskilling ourselves
Thanks
That's great What are some new skills you can encourage one to dive into
@astral topaz Pick an area you have passion for. There is no way to fake passion in an interview. Target businesses that have the products you would love to work on. Software jobs are going to go poof. Focus towards hands on work, where an electro-mechanical system needs to be maintained or developed. Service gigs are less stressful than R&D gigs. Learn to use a Digital Volt Meter, and solder decently, if you haven't already. If you can get a certificate on PLC's that would not be time wasted. Good oscilloscope chops puts you in top tier. Feel free to DM, I don't mind helping EE's.
Thanks so much
