I'm Shivam, a final-year B.Tech CSE student, and I'm gearing up for GSoC 2026. I'm specifically targeting the Gemini CLI organization, with my sights set on Project #6 (Interactive Progress Visualization & Task Stepping).
My background is in full-stack development, primarily working with React, Redux Toolkit, JavaScript, and Node.js. Since Project #6 focuses heavily on React (Ink), state management, and asynchronous UI updates, I'm really excited to apply and expand my current stack in a CLI environment.
I'm hoping to connect with an experienced open-source contributor who might be open to collaborating or offering some mentorship. I am also currently looking for "good first issues" in the repository to get my hands dirty, understand the architecture, and get familiar with how the terminal UI rendering works here.
