okay let me be more precise, so I am in the process of publishing 3 papers in telecom, machine learning and networking respectively. Any idea if Companies like Couchbase, Cisco care about all this?

Coz I am morei into software dev and coding, I am not particularly interesteed in a paper but university rules say I need to publish atleast one

The problem is this you need to be sharp on how much you give away

Because sadly some companies will just want to know what you know

I will have to ask him because he's in a high security job. His papers are public but it's more exposing our surname on a public server that's worrying me as I too work in a high security company
