#no, using parameter filling like?

Ok, sorry for my newbie questions. I've never used CX form filling(or even CX before, to begin with). The Start page would be with the input field empty, the user hasn't entered anything yet, right?

I create a form on a page(not sure which one yet!), that asks all the questions needed for a hotel booking. But to start asking those questions I first need to know that this is about a hotel booking(i.e move the conversation from the Start page to the "Gather data for a hotel reservation"), which would make this a two step/pages process. Right? Or am I missing something fundamental here?

I'm not questioning what you're saying, I just have a crapload of knowledge gaps to fill on my part.

Is it possible to forward any "extra" data entered by the user on the Start page to the next "Form fill for that booking type" page? So that if the user provides date, city/hotel etc the Form filling page would skip asking about that particular part?

I guess that's kind of what form filling is about?

It would be kind of a "merge" of the two designs discussed, the possibility to enter everything needed directly in the text field on the Start page, and the fallback form filling if something is missing?

..of course, that would require the Intents on the Start page to parse everything and every case correctly.

Anyone reading this as a more experienced person feeling that this is not realistic, bad design or something, please feel free to say so.
