Chrome crashing

Hey there, this server isn't a support server for end-user products, but we can still try and offer some help through this thread (very limited support though)

Did you install any sort of chrome extension before this started happening?

it worked just fine yesterday and the day before, today t randomly decided to not open anymore and I have not dowmnloaded any new extentions earlier

and I don't think it's an extension problem as I still the same issue even after uninstalling then reinstalling the app multiple times

Have you tried running chrome as admin (?)

let me try doing that

yep, still the same issue of the window closing up the second I open it

as I click open the chrome app, I notice that multiple instances of google chrome pop up in my task manager

I tried doing the options given to me by google's support page, nothing works as of yet

Can you right click your chrome shortcut and add in the Target section, this: --app=https://youtube.com?

I meant like, add it onto the existing stuff that was written there

with a space 😅 was just trying to see if changing the default tab page is causing a crash

Has it been resolved?

Try updating chrome

I managed to fix the issue

By changing the name of the app from chrome to Google Chrome

And it now works like a charm
