Not an additional role but something of visibility related. I would prefer if channels can be be made limited to roles to keep things clutter free. I feel there are too many channels exposed at the moment. Having something such as cloud role for instance will expose the Google Cloud Platform category channels, having android role will expose everything-android channel and so on.

after all, there is no such thing as cross-platform-dev. It is hybrid cloud, apps with multiple frontends etc. etc.

Would love to ability to add roles to my profile. I have tried a few times to add GDG Organiser, but it never sticks from what I can see.

Not all. I don't have Champion Innovator there yet. Once it is added I will have. 🤣

There is no CI role in the role picker because the team handles adding this role themselves.

That said, this is on my list of things to add (as well as "Workspace") when I get to it. I'll take note and ping you when I do
