This might very well be the VR tech that they use for the finals, here’s why:

one of them was in the season 7 battlepass, which might mean that the green one was hacked by CNS and used by CNS members to participate in the gameshow, meanwhile the other one is probably the typical vr tech that every contestant uses, because reusing the same model wouldn’t make sense, so the obvious answer is that THIS IS the vr tech.

I do think there isn't enough evidence to be certain that the two games are connected, but there are, (as far as I'm aware), 3-4 (Alfa Acta has always been a bit of a stretch) shared logos / company names between the finals and Arc Raiders. I personally think that the story would be much more interesting if they were connected, and I would like to believe they're at least partially connected to each other, because I don't think that Embark would add these connections entirely unintentionally/as an easter egg or joke. This video is very well researched, and shared logos / company names is not credible evidence to tie the two games together. Yes, it could all be easter eggs, but as a game dev, I've always found it more interesting to try to work stories into each other between different games I've worked on, since it feels more cohesive and interesting in my opinion.
This is a great video, but I don't believe what he said about a shared narrative re-using a "Matrix" plotline is necessarily relevant. Yes, The Finals is a virtual world, but if the two games do share a universe, that wouldn't make it a "Matrix" plotline unless The Finals itself made the ARCs and is using the game as a distraction while it ravages humanity. I personally think it's more likely that The Finals is an escape from reality that almost everybody got into up in space starting in 2100 and that the ARCs on Earth are simply used to extract resources / potentially wipe remaining human life off of the surface for those who escaped during The Exodus to return. We know that the first wave of ARCs was sometime within the last 40-ish years because Celeste was present during it, and lost her family to the ARCs, making a strong argument for her being a child when the first wave occurred. In a potentially shared narrative, that would put the first appearance of arcs roughly 100 years after The Exodus, and 40 years after the start of The Finals. I think the biggest reason for the ARCs to exist in either situation is, again, that the rich elite constructed them to harvest resources from Earth and they are at least, to an extent, designed to kill humans by conventional means, (i.e. not using chemical, nuclear, or biological weapons), implying that they are not trying to make the world uninhabitable to life in general. We can safely assume that the ARCs are not alien in nature, since they use conventional human ammunition, and their components have English on them. At the end of the day, there is not enough evidence to suggest a connection between the two narratives. However, I think it would most likely be better not only as a platform to tell a larger, cohesive story, but also as a tool for Embark to cross-promote both games. Considering the success of Arc Raiders during TT2, I really think it would be a missed opportunity to not have a shared story between the two games. I still love both ARC Raiders and The Finals even if they aren't connected beyond some minor easter eggs.

See, I never really saw THE FINALS as Fortnite in the way cosmetics worked (in universe). I always assumed your contestant was completely unique. In Fortnite there's only a set amount of skins you can use. That's why it's odd to me.

The fact that they refer to the real world as "the meatspace" reinforces this for me. They probably live pretty established lives in this virtual world. Don't you think they have a sense of identity in their avatars? Like in ready player one?

I have a game theory, what if CNS is an algorithm set in place by someone from multico who went rogue after they lost the rights to the original design of the finals, and the algorithm is capable of going anywhere in time... if thats so, then what if all of CNS' attempts to win the finals back is to prevent the neglect of the outside world so arc raiders doesn't happen? Well what if they changed the course of history by causing multico to hire vaiiya, then vaiiya's AI CEO becomes power hungry or frustrated and starts deploying machines to the real world to either eradicate cns or take over the world. In the desc of ARC it says that the world was twice destroyed, what if the Vaiiya bots destroyed it then multico used some sort of extreme countermeasure (i.e. missiles) to eliminate the vaiiya threat, ultimately failing. Then humanity goes underground and arc raiders takes place

Ospuze is an energy drink company. they have slogans like "who needs water" and "pop, pour perform."

their CEO is sofia petronelle.

CNS says that S Lies, directly referring to Sofia.

My personal theory is that she lies about the contents of Ospuze, and there is MDMA (euphoria) in it, and not an inconciderable ammount.

they are tied to the trentilla corperation, and their Tiger Juice is sourced from the Tiger fruit grown in the greater atlantic garbage patch

Ospuze is also involved in the three frogs poem.

there are two theories as to who the three frogs poem refers to.

one is that the poem is about the CEOS, the other is that it is about the victems of the CEOS and their company.

this line directly reffers to OSPUZE, wether it is the CEO or the victem

on one hand it could mean that Sofia is addicted to her own product, or that she is addicted perhaps to money/fame.

or it could refer to the victem, getting addicted to ospuze and possibly getting overdosed.

And I'd imagine boycotting both companies is absolutely hell because of how dependent many Contestants are for the boost they provide for each match.
