The bind for Communication wheel brings up "EXPRESSIONS" this looks like the old communication wheel

The bind for Expression brings up "EXPRESSIONS" this duplicates the communication wheel except you can right click or double press to access the otherwise now inaccessable sounds emote wheel that used to be part of expressions

The bind for Emotes brings up "PINGS" with some emotes and some stickers but no sounds

The bind for Pings brings up "EQUIPMENT STATUS" which is really the old ping menu

The bind for Equipment status brings up "PINGS" which is the new equipment status just mislabeled.

Bottom line, i used to be able to press one button to access my sound emotes together with my regular emotes, now i cant without an extra button press.. it doesn't feel good. is this just a bug because I've rebound the keys or is this actually now intended behavior?

My account was permanently suspended and I have contacted support more than 10 times. Every time I receive almost the exact same reply, often within the same minute, which makes it look like the responses are automated and that my case is not being properly reviewed.

I am attaching a screenshot showing one of the replies that arrived in the same minute. This happened multiple times.

I have over 1000 hours in the game and I have never used cheats. I only want a proper manual review of my case instead of automated responses.

You lose RS if ranked; you don't get to reconnect and play even though your connection is fine and stable and the game has been closed/relaunched; and you get an increasing matchmaking ban on Cashout!

I just lost two ranked games because of Server Timeouts that cant give you the opportunity to even get back to the main menu and reconnect. Last season once you were kicked out you could atleast come back within a minute. Now you have to restart the game. And of course the game doesnt start from the first try. You have of course loose like 5 mins time to get back. Wth is happening in this season with the servers? Unplayable really.

Have you tried disabling any additional AV on your system outside of windows defender etc.?

I only use windows defender and I have added exclusions for easy anti cheat and the finals so it shouldn't effect it at all

And yeah I figure youre right. But The Finals and Arc Raiders are the ONLY games that have this problem so its these 2 games being incompatible with my system somehow which sucks because im not rebuilding my whole setup just for Embarks issue with my system

I'm assuming this is a pretty typical Windows 11 machine? Interesting that you mention that the issue is only with both games from Embark, perhaps there is some deep seated incompatibility with their anti-cheat engine.

Have you tried doing a full uninstall / reinstall, not just validating the game files? Maybe the state the validate is pulling the files from is corrupt?

I find it really strange that my account got banned. I’ve always played on PlayStation 5 with no issues at all, and I had around 93 hours of gameplay. I was even planning to buy the Battle Pass because I was really enjoying the game.

One day I decided to try downloading the game on my girlfriend’s PC, just to play there. I used my Steam account (which I literally created only to link profiles, since I don’t normally play on PC). When I linked my Embark ID and launched the game, I ended up with a completely different profile a brand new level 0 account. That felt really strange, because my main Embark ID should be linked to my PlayStation account with all my progress.

To be honest, I’m quite upset. I really like the game, but I don’t feel like starting over after all the time I spent playing events and unlocking exclusive skins. It feels like all that progress has just been wiped.

I’ve been trying to contact Embark support since April 8th, but I keep getting the same automated email saying my request has been received and that they’ll respond when they can. This worries me a lot, because I recently also bought ARC Raiders and I had my account connected, and I’d be really stressed if I end up losing everything because of an issue with the Embark ID system when linking Steam.

Just to clarify, this happened when going from console to PC, not PC to console.

Why did devs add a delay of 1.5 seconds between a melee weapon attack and a quick strike?
This change did not affect ranged weapons, I believe that this is as unfair as possible and kills melee gaming with a weapon such as a sword and others
I just hope this is a bug and it will be fixed

Distance, height, teammates. The removal of goo stun removed goo sledge from the game, goo flash tech, self goo defense, botches goo stall, nerfs the ability for people to counter melee AND removes the ability for melee to catch people, goo flamethrower doesn't work now, goo doesn't work on gadgets, trying to save yourself from a ledge can just lead to death if you have too much volocity, and it introduces goo gun to an exploit on steals.

Being annoyed by a mechanic does not justify nerfing it. You can literally play better and counter goo stun. If you're close enough, goo stun doesn't matter, if you're far enough, goo stun doesn't matter.

It removes creativity and defensive options from playstyles that require it to exist. Nerfing directly nerf half of melee players. It nerfs burst playstyles that focus on timing after goo stun. By removing goo stun, you are removing tech like self goo stun + vanish bomb, goo flash, self goo for defib, self goo for charge timing on sword and dagger, goo stall on enemies for alt fires, goo stall for gadget deployment, distance creation, distance closing.

It literally turns goo into a gadget that can only reliably be used similar to barricade. And turns goo gun into a build only spec.

Goo stun isn't just a troll tool or stall tool. And yes, it has been removed. You will gain 1 meter at MOST now for gooing someone directly.

Not to mention, melee player too close? Guess what, can't goo stun for distance anymore. Must use spec, or jump pad, or zip, or something else.

Know someone is close to empty on ammo? Nope, can't goo stun to block any remaining bullets.

Sure, just nerf one of the fundamentals to using goo because it's annoying. But hey, It's fine to remove one of the fundamentals of a gadget and just turn it into a ranged barricade.

Sorry if I sound hostile. I am visceral about this change. I've been nerfed over the past few months like 30 times for playing the worst weapon in the game and I'm sick of it.

From what I understand it was the infinite chain stun from goo gun that was frustrating, not goo stun itself. I actually agree with this, but the devs most likely won't implement something like it..

Like it would allow for counterplay too. Imagine goo stunning yourself to reduce enemy goo stun early. Maybe you pre - goo your teammate a few times for a steal to counter it.

Strafe-sprinting only works with autosprint enabled and non-autosprint users thus can't (exclusively) strafe (or move backwards) and sprint at the same time.
This means that: having autosprint enabled makes strafing (and moving backwards) faster, but drastically reduces accuracy while doing so.
With weapons where accuracy of the first shot is highly relevant (like the .50 akimbos) the reduced strafing accuracy makes autosprint completely unviable.
I'm assuming this is a bug, given that it is never mentioned anywhere and seems strange to have different sprint requirements based on settings.

Hello, I’m having a problem with my game
About three days ago I opened my PC to change the thermal paste. Everything went fine, but after that I started noticing very heavy stutters in the game whenever there are destructions or explosions. Everything else in the game runs perfectly.
Since then I’ve tried several things. I lowered the graphics settings (even though the game never gave me problems before), but the stutters continued. I also asked different AIs for help and they all suggested the same thing: setting an FPS limit. I tried that too, but the stutters are still there.
I’ve been monitoring my GPU, CPU, and RAM performance, and all of them are working normally. I would even say they’re performing better after changing the thermal paste. My CPU usage usually stays around 50–70%, and my GPU usage is normally around 90%. Even when I limited FPS and lowered settings so the GPU usage dropped to around 70%, the stutters were still happening. GPU temperature stays around 70°C, and RAM usage also looks normal.
I also verified the integrity of the game files through Steam Properties, and everything is installed correctly with no corrupted files.
I also tested other games like Minecraft, League of Legends, and Deadlock to check if the issue was affecting everything, but those games run normally. The problem only happens in The Finals.
In short, I’ve tried pretty much everything and the issue keeps happening. There are no problems with my GPU or CPU — both are working as expected — but the problem persists and I don’t know what else to try.
I’m using a Ryzen 5, an RTX 3060, and 32 GB of RAM.
At this point I’ve already tried limiting FPS, lowering the resolution, and using NVIDIA settings like DLSS inside the game. No matter what configuration I use — default settings or custom ones — the stutters always happen when buildings are being destroyed.
This is something that never happened to me before, so I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue

You didnt read what I wrote, or misunderstood. Close steam completely and its background processes, and then right click its shortcut and run as admin, not The Finals. and you need to logout too. If youre not relogging in after closing Steam you didnt actually close it.

Embark is one of the best game companies I’ve ever experienced; trust me, they care more than anyone else about their players and what the community wants or wants changed. And no, it’s not something you just magically fix overnight. Bugs—especially anti-cheat ones—can have a million different causes depending on hardware, software, drivers, background programs, you name it. It’s not as simple as “just fix it.”

If you’re having issues, that sucks, but stop acting like it’s universal truth for everyone else. I’m not seeing it, plenty of others aren’t either. Anyone else unable to even get the game to run past the main loading screen?

Everytime I run the game through steam or shortcuts, it gets to the loading screen with the "the fantasy league" text. Then it pops up a terminal that's connected to taskkill.exe inside the system32 folder for a couple frames.

It then either freezes for a second and closes, or just instantly closes.

I found a fix to my problem, for pc only and its a hell of alot of effort too I'm afraid. Had to do some troubleshooting with chatgpt, it gave me abunch of fixes that id already tried and had been unsuccesful. Then it told me to unistall and wipe the finals clean from my files. I did that, deleting it first on steam then purging my files of any trace of the finals or embark, then reinstalled it, works now, hopes this helps someone. (nvm its not working anymore)

I just played a game of ranked cashout and we were top place and were guarding a cashbox while the timer runs out and and another team was protecting their cashout. So the timer goes off, so the cashbox we guarded de-spawned and it goes into overtime. The game timer counted down, our team lost about 20K because the game thought we double-jeopardied the cashout when we very clearly did not? Anyways we lost that for no reason.

Well idk how to fix this but I tried, I was playing a game of ranked and all of a sudden all the buttons on my mouse switch. Left click is right, right is left. I play sledgehammer 90 percent of the time and this was annoying. I go into practice range and then all of a sudden they're not switching anymore but now the secondary attack for sledgehammer just doesn't work anymore. I also have crouch on my side mouse button and quick melee also and those failed to work no matter how many times I clicked. I checked settings and everything is normal and all keybinds are in there places. My next line of thinking was that it was a broken mouse. So I used 2 separate extra mice I had and still the same thing. That's when I realized it wasn't a mouse problem but a game problem. I deleted the game and reinstalled it. Once reinstalled I went into practice range and now quick melee and crouch side buttons work now but still the heavy slam on the sledgehammer doesn't work. Tried different mice again and same answer please please help.

I've been contacting the finals support for months now and I am getting the same responses and no changes. My game crashes non stop here is what I know, rarely crashes in the menu, I can get max 2 games of team death match before it crashes, it does not correlate to my Wi-Fi, my fiancés pc is the same build as my pc and his never crashes, my frames do not drop before or during the crashes, my graphics are on low, I have looked online and tried all the suggestions, I used the finals suggestions, they recommended dns flushing and it crashed 1 game later, drivers all always up to date, and I noticed it started after i upgraded to a radeon rx 9070xt. It would crash 1 time randomly 1 time a week for about 4 months, now the last 4-5 months I can not play more than 15 mins without crashing. I am sure there is more to say but in 4 months id probably crashed 100+ times, it started with ranked so id keep coming back so I didn't lose my rank which sadly it counted as me abandoning matches even though I get back in and win a game. Then it used to be every 5-10 games it would crash now its every other game. It is the same with Arc raiders. This does not happen in any other game HEEELLLPPPPP

I contacted THE FINALS support about the same issue and they just replied to me saying their system detected software or settings that might interfere with Easy Anti-Cheat or the game files.

The problem is that I do not use any cheats or unauthorized software at all. I’m also not very experienced with PCs or software, so I honestly have no idea what could be causing the issue on my computer either.

it is needed to get 2x, 1st is the ticket turning to gold, 2nd is the ticket being obtained, I also thought is was a bug because in the tutorial they mark your ticked and you can also use it.

i installed the finals yesterday for the first time and i get this issue and i tried verifying games files, restarting the router and still no fix for this,
I tried to ask for help but the discord support sended me to the website wich since my ip is blocked i cant access the support website (im not saying theyre not helping but both discord staff and embark support wont offer much help), only when i use a vpn i can access the website, but still get no response from the support team does anybody know a fix to this?
Im scared to open my other EAC games like rust or fortnite, i dont want to be banned on them because a error i had on this game

usually ip issues, is by the open routes of your router, maybe trying to undestand the cause of the issue with the error code, and then find out with routes are openned on your router, it also can be that the ports aren't being accessed as intended by the firewall

I am not even banned on arc raiders since the anti cheat download failed and I later needed to restart my pc to re-download and play it (won’t touch arc raiders for now to not risk a ban there too) but the arc raiders anti cheat is the same as the finals no? So the anti cheat got triggered by itself 😀

@merry verge to answer your question, nope, we got no clue what the threshold change could be for it to trigger. Also means even just tweaking your mouse settings to help your aim (which I had been doing recently before getting banned) could be enough for it to flag and ban you which is crazy. There's basically 0 transparency on this by embark since "it risks the anti cheat integrity", yeah cos knowing how much I can tweak my mouse, or how often I can switch weapons before the clanker tweaks and bans me is something that needs to be censored.

It appears the system creates a profile for you, adjusts it every now and then, and flags you if you violate it. so, if my normal cps was 0.3, but I had a variation of 0.1-1, I would be flagged if I repeated clicked at 0.09. It seems most of the time the system verifies that you simply clicked faster or slower than normal, probably by comparing click times. But, if I clicked every 0.1 seconds, it would flag that, because it’s statistically near impossible to click exactly 0.1 seconds apart every time. it looks for organic input.

So, if you violate the thresholds, then it would check something like this.
(times are seconds between clicks.)

Yes but here's the thing. If you are using a full auto weapon, you click once and hold until you stop shooting.

If you're using v9s, melee or even shotty for example, you are gonna click a lot faster. Unless it actually looks at the weapon you're using and has a profile for each one (unlikely) it's gonna go "oh they're cheating they're clicking more"

Also @elder cove , replying with the edit because 10 min cooldown cringe, check the CPU usage and get your friend to follow a anti Windows bloatware guide. But given the performance tank the anti cheat has caused, likely can't do much about it. My laptop ran fine before they added it and since the Ai one got added it's had horrid performance cos it's gobbling the resources

I was specifically talking about the auto clicker detection program, the recoil script probably checks for micro adjustments that show whether or not you are human. nobody can control recoil perfectly, so a bunch of flags are raised if you have perfect accuracy. I’m not talking about having “good” recoil control, I’m talking about perfect, 0 pixel deviation, which is impossible for humans to do

True and fair, but the cooldown time for weapons kinda makes that useless to have. And even if your argue "0ms" reaction on shooting someone, that could be prefiring or even just accidental collateral who walked into a gunfight.

As for the recoil tracking, yes humans wouldn't have perfect tracking, but what's to stop the recoil script from having a few pixels of dispersion randomly added in to make it seem organic?

me and my premate won a game, and got stuck on the "player loading screen" for 10min and then i try to shutdown the game to try and restart the game to try and see if it will fix it.. Now i lost 989 rs and got a 10 ban timer? my mate did the same to restart the game, and he got + 300 cuz i left the a stuck loading screen for 10min.. How is that fair

no cause the tickets are not working for me i’ve gotten the golden ones a few times and have only been able to use just 1 of them. not only that, but the weekly update genuinely messed my game up, i was playing fine last night and now the game won’t even load up properly idk what to really do about that.
