But if you completed the circuits you have the skins? They gave solutions to if you can’t complete the few challenges left that they are resetting. They made a mistake and made a response/fixed it pretty fast. My statement ain’t poor it’s just a neutral look at what they did. It gives us xp still for those who aren’t done and if you can’t finish you can contact and get the skins still.

I can't give you a definitive answer, but I think that should be fine. i'd maybe add that you now would have to do x amount of contracts, instead of only the 2 you were missing, which now you cannot do in time

My friend has an issue with a game. It didn't want to start at first and crashed on launch. Now we managed to make it past CTD from start to CTD in game after a couple of minutes.
Only worked on dx11
PC specs:
Windows 11 Home
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 TI (552.22 drivers, since anything higher coused issues)
Intel Core I9-14900kf
32GB Vengeance Pro DDR4 RAM
What have been tried:
Reinstalled drivers(newest caused a lot of problems, so they have been complitely reinstalled from official web site)/game
Verified game files
Settings ingame have been tweaked a lot of times
Starting with dx11d3 in steam
Windows 11 is a curent version

I did provide screenshots of mine but they probably wouldn't blame people for not having screenshots or listing every little thing. The only reason I had screenshots is because I had a cursed game with 6 lights and 3 mediums and took a screenshot that happened to show my progress in some of the missions... 🗿 We won that game.

Absolutely not, but some players got hit by the bug and were rest to points which makes completing the masters circuit very difficult.

Not really stressed. Im glad you can remember all your information for your circuit challenges day to day. Even if you note the exact challenges you had left they arent fixing each acount one by one and editing the information. The challenges you get are rolled and not even all the same as the initial challenges you had. Since that is the case I think listing how many challenges you had remaining in each circuit is sufficiant.

Has anyone been loosing points after winning a tournament? It gave me 3 up arrows but when I looked on the leaderboards I went down in points. I was at 26k before the game then I was at 29k after the game. It was a great game over all. Tons of cash was cashed out and performance was outstanding

I agree with u, I know they aren't gonna check in detail but it said to be specific so... I'm not able to finish all stages on pro and masters in a few hours also bc they are now locked after the bug. It was never rerolled as they said they would. they said to contact support if u aren't able to finish the quests until season 3 release, that's why I contacted them.

Mine rerolled like 5 minutes ago. And went from 2 challenges left both at 90% to 5 challenges left all at 0. I submitted a ticket and noted that, as well as the time restraint making it an impossibility to complete. If they dont give me my reward then Im going to just sum that up to them not handling the situation right. They should of just gifted everyone the cosmetics and apologized. That would of had a far better lasting affect on their player base then this mess.

Will just have to see what happens really. The route they went to fix this situation is puzzling if you think about all the time it will take them to address each ticket. Although Im guessing they went this route to have people be on the game and grinding when season 3 launches. @oblique berry I was 99% complete done by circuit challenges and now I'm back to 75% because of the bug. I will never be able to get all the contracts back in time. Additionally, there's still a bug where it's impossible for me to complete the circuit challenge to do arena damage with arena throwables. The game DOES NOT register any damage. It's literally impossible for me to complete the circuit and you guys totally screwed me out of my AK skin. I had 2 challenges left on the last page of the masters circuit. Logged in a moment ago and saw I now have 7 left. A few random challenges in masters reset across most of the stages. What's worse is I was trying to wrap them up yesterday but I wasn't even able to track those challenges I lost.

Bummer cause I made time to finish them yesterday and now I'm stuck with more work and less time. I contacted support, hopefully something comes of it. I like the Embark team, and I like the game a lot, and I'm excited for S3... But feels bad

Just for future challenges the "Arena damage with Arena carriables" is done by using the orange/fire barrels around the map. That's how I done it. I realised after throwing loads of the red ones at random buildings and the score wasn't going up😂 hope this helps.

Might sound petty but I play pretty casually I’ve bought both battle passes so far and skins and the best we can get for the mistake you guys made is, redo it or message support. I think I’ll pass on supporting this game any further. The fix should simply be giving players the rewards for making a mistake. Easy as. Then move on and hope it doesn’t happen in the future.

uh so for the circuit bug fix I earned one of the master rewards cause of reshuffling, but for some reason its not showing up in the style section for my characters? Although I also don't see the other master's rewards even as locked that I didn't get, and it's been that way since before the update, so it might be a seperate bug. Anyone experienced this? For clarification the cosmetics don't show up as locked or unlocked, they're just not in the menu at all.

Anyone have this problem? I’m trying to redo some of the contracts because of the bug that happened yesterday and I’m focusing on the light build dmg contract which was at 0 progress. I hop into some power shift and start sniping, by the end of the match I had around 8,000 dmg and when I went to check other contracts I noticed that the contract I was focusing on only went up 4,500 dmg and not the amount I did that game. I’ve noticed this with other contracts as well throughout season 1 and 2. I get like 8 revives off in one game and then the revive contract only goes up like 2 or 3. Anyone else dealing with this?

The people who run the game fucked up and the way they fixed it is: you have to redo all the progress you originally had to do, then do even more, and you don't get any extra time to do it. My controller loses the assist aim after the game has been running for a while. Is this a bug? Because the in-game handle curve is not really linear, but a traditional curve, like y=0.00494*+0.00996*x^2-0.05426, not y=x, and there is also a dead zone of about 1.5% in the dead zone-free mode. I have to enable the anti-curve and anti-dead zone of the steam input to play the game to achieve a similar feeling to other games.

The spear right click seams to deal damage based on line of sight and not if the spear collides with the players. Thus making the right click useless in close quarters since you will often be dealing no damage.....

There's a bug with grenades, where the second grenade will duplicate the first grenade's throw behaviour automatically and unexpectedly if you do the following:

1. Get a grenade with 2 charges (e.g. Sonar)
2. Tap right click to throw short
3. As soon as the animation starts, hold left click to throw long, and do not release
4. The second grenade will throw itself without you releasing, and will do so short instead of long, but with the long throw animation

This results in the grenade being thrown at the incorrect distance

Twice now I have gotten a bug in world tour where I cant use my specialization (evasive dash). I cant crouch, I cant interact with any doors, cashboxes, or objects like barrels or arena carriables. I cant mantle objects so I cant reach anywhere that's above jump height. I CANT EVEN RESSURECT TEAMMATES BANNERS. It makes it feel like I am running in slow motion and I run where im looking, not the directional key im holding. It only effects me and not the lobby because other players are still using evasive dash (which is infuriating because I have lights dashing away from me and I cant dash to them to catch up. It has happened on two different maps so it is not map specific. I thought it was because of OBS the first time it happened but I wasnt streaming the second time I got the bug and it still lasted all round. Getting killed does not fix the issue. You have to wait for the round to end for the bug to reset and for your game to go back to normal. Of course it almost always results in a loss though so it doesnt really matter. Both times the bug did not start until part way though the round. Not sure what triggers it. Might have something to do with lunge dash on sword? Have any of you all experienced this bug too?

There’s an Xbox problem. I use an Xbox series S and it has a resume play feature so I can leave the game on pause and come back to it like I never left without it shutting off, I can also go to home page and play another game and it will keep running. This feature works perfectly fine with any other game I play but The Finals. Anytime I quick resume the finals and go to play any game mode it says problem occurred. So I have to fully restart the game and then it works again. Please fix this issue it would help me and I’m sure a lot of Xbox players a lot.

Hey, I have an audio problem in game. While playing, the audio of my PC will pop in and out multiple times per second every few seconds or so. The problem seems to be linked to PC performance intensity as it is not as problematic in menus but when in game it's a lot more frequent. I've looked at some steam community posts but nothing seems to sound similar and I haven't been able to fix it.

I assume restarting the game didn't help? maybe verifying the game files does help already? just a shot in the dark though:
right-click the game in your steam library --> Properties... --> Installed Files --> Verify integrity of game files.

if that doesn't do anything, maybe deleting the folders named Embark and Discovery in the %AppData%/Local folder helps (it resets your game settings and keybindings though), so delete Embark and Discovery folders which have a path like this:
C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\Embark
C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\Discovery
then verify the game again. not sure if that helps, but could be worth a shot. otherwise I'd contact support.

and if you do this, the second spear hit will play right after the right click animation finishes without waiting for the left click spear animation to catch up

Is there a place for me to submit a bug report? I was doing some testing in a private lobby with a friend on the new dual blades for the medium to test damage. The first combo does 100 dmg (50 x2), 2nd combo does 120 (60 x2), but the third hit of the full combo (Where you cross your blades in an X shape) only does 65 damage ONE time, meaning it does less than both the first and second parts of the combo. I'm not certain whether this is a bug, but it certainly feels wrong as the animation feels just as long as the 1st and 2nd parts, meaning cancelling your attack is always stronger than finishing it.

I played Rank's Terminal Attack and the game crashed 5 times in one match. It crashed 3 more times while I was logging back in.
When I finally returned, I received an 8 minute and 21 second penalty for abandoning the match midway.
Season 3 is amazing. I've never experienced such an unstable game! Thank you for this enjoyable game.

Somehow the system detects my clicking as a third party program. It is just with the knifes, all other weapons work normal and without the kick.

The winch claw sometimes doesn't hit people who are physically hit by the claw. It sometimes passes straight through them.
Also the Spear right click often deals no damage. E.g. when it hit a shield, then it won't deal any damage, whether there is a shield between you and the enemy or not.

I've tried to launch directly from easy anti cheat, I've reinstalled the game, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled easy anti cheat, which didn't help. So I closed and reopened the game so that I could reconnect to my match. However after reconnecting it said match canceling because player left. Hi, i'm on Linux Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS and have been playing since the latter half of season 1.
I have always had crashes but they were tolerable as they happened every 40 minutes to an hour but now i can't even get through 1 round of cashout or TA without crashing.
This might have to do with the new map as i just crash as soon as the first minute of a game.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and verifying game data but it doesn't seem to change much.

Hello, i am unable to launch the finals at all, all it does is say launching executable on steam, and then not boot up, and there has been no resolution for 6+ months, i've reported this before, and unfortunately theres been no change,
Platform: PC
Windows 11 Mouse and keyboard

the methods i've used to troubleshoot the issue across these months are:
Reinstall uninstall
Delete all files
reinstall steam fresh, delete steam registry
Delete embark folder, delete any trace of finals on my computer
Updated my drivers
did the whole dx3d11
deleted EAC off of my pc
Deleted every game that has eac and then finals as well
Launch as admin
Compatibility mode settings
verify files
closed all razer programs, everything on my pc but steam/finals
after awhile i looked into it with the window's event viewer, and saw an error that states A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider.

As well as Event 4110, CAPI2, which states Failed to add certificate to third party root Certification Authorities store with error: Access is denied.

This is as much as i got, as i am not tech savvy enough to do much more, and i've also managed to add the EAC certifcation into my trusted certifcation on my PC as well, however, i simply run back into the A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider issue.

Please, it's been 6+ months, and i come back to this game everytime it gets a new update, i was able to play in season 1 just fine, i'll gladly provide any evidence/screenshot you need to fix it/help me fix it.

Update: I've reinstalled the game, i am literally, missing a certifcation to even play, the steam install did not give me a certification to launch the game, therefore i cannot play, how can this be remedied or fixed?

When a player is affected by the tracking effect, the effect still on the affected player for the rest of the game. I don't have image permissions to post the image I think, but just had a game where my Sonar grenade bugged out and scanned opponents with 100% uptime, even after they respawned.

Happened while multiple ally Sonar grenades were going off, and I was late joining too (I had the bug where all statues are white instead of using team colors that I sometimes see on late join).

When enemy teams respawned, I was able to see them across the map tagged with their team color using the sonar / tracking dart effect. Reach out if you need more info or a picture.

Hi, I have been having this issue for 6+ months, where i install the finals and the certification folder is empty, and the settings.json is missing, and the EAC files do literally nothing to install or fix this, i haven't been able to play the game, i've tried probably everything, there has been no fix i've found that worked, i've deleted the cert file, deleted the eac file, deleted everything related to EAC on my computer, deleted my steam registry, deleted EAC registry and still it won't download the certifcation or the settings.json file, does anyone have any fixes to this issue?

if you right click with the spear and get grappled during the animation your weapon gets disabled and you cant do anything
i dont know if it disables abilities too but i would guess it does since it's probably the animation/damage canceling but the lock that prevents you from doing other things not cancelling with it

also there is a really bad issue with getting into matches a full second after cancelling queue
this happens so consistently that i get into a match after i leave queue more often than i dont

Goo is still weird. Even if you hit an enemy, the enemy can walk out, and even when you hit an enemy using a zipline, the enemy ignores it and passes by, and when you use a goo gun, the goo that hits the enemy doesn't break as easily as before. Please fix goo like goo patch before. Make goo work as before, but just fix the issue where players can crash into goo on moving platforms and get stuck.

Its an issue getting more frequent and more people are voicing this. I have this since mid Season 2 and there is no reaction from support even though I wrote them twice and provided multiple crash reports and media.

Check the bug reports section. There is one with a ton of people having the same issue. The more people report this the higher the chance Embark does something finally about this. I have this since mid Season 2 and because of that bug I cant play with my group anymore and our common game nights stoped.

Understandable when you are a three stack and instantly having a more difficult game when one of your teammates cant connect

I have 2 things, both relating to the Orange text that appears on the mid left of the screen. But I want to know if it is worth putting in bug report. Or If it might be something that is already known.

First: When a player leaves the game (Casual), I have noticed that that same player comes up multiple times in the orange text saying they have left. This is annoying and distracting.
(My Guess is that these players are joining other matches and leaving. And the game still thinks they are in the original server and keeps updating status)

Second: Friends repeatedly pop up (In orange text) saying they are online / logged on. Is there a way to turn this off? Very annoying, especially after the seventh time.

Hello @lament crater , I contacted Support directly two times. No real fix besides what they have stated on their support site:

• Close all autostart programs
• Close all other programs not necessary
• Check integrity of the game
• Reinstall game
• Update Drivers

Tried all that with no success. I assume that it is server side because I have heard about the same issue from multiple platforms and PC-Specs. No statement from the developers about this. Got this issue since mid Season 2

Just a random assortment of bugs with the spear:
TLDR: The spear has a maximum number of hits which it can perform. This applies also to barricades, shields, objects (chairs, containers, etc.), debris, etc. Thus the spear right click is useless when used inside an enemy team. Because after (i believe 4 hits) it won't deal any damage. This is btw the use case for the spears secondary, which is extremely funny and stupid, that exactly this is bugged.

Also the spear secondary is cancellable by spamming the emote wheel.

But if I play quick play modes, I can go hours without crashing.

I found a pretty consistent way to crash the server during a match (sorry contestants I had to be sure). If you place an anti gravity grenade on a piece (maybe pile) of debris and start smashing the debris with a sledgehammer it will eventually crash the whole match

I cant post on the report bug channel how do I get the contestant role to do so? I just encountered a bug where all of my team had wallhacks and were able to see the enemies thru walls like we had sonars all over the map

yeah i need to report a bug too, i just encountered and recorded it.
i couldnt look aorund without clicking all the ui dissapeared and i couldnt respawn and had to be revived
