My friend keeps getting kicked when he joins a party with me or I join his. Happens about 1 minute into the main menu, but doesn't show him kicked on his screen. If I queue when he still thinks he's in the party on his screen, but isn't on mine, I get into a match without him. If we get into a match before he gets kicked, it doesn't affect the game but he requires and invite again after the game. Is this a known issue, a fix in the works?

Does anyone else notice that the defibrillator doesn't seem to work as intended when the statue is covered slightly in debris. For example, the body base of the statue could be covered and it would block the defibrillator from working. A scenario example would be in the Seoul map where you have the Refrigerant pipes (tiny ones on the green part of the map), I was trying to revive but there was a pipe going through the bottom base part and I couldn't use the defibrillator

Is the voice chat volume adjustment bug known?

Whenever joining a new game, the voice chat audio levels are reset to max (200) while the setting in the menu will still be set to the same number it was previously set to.

Workaround: every game, go to audio -> voice chat output volume and click it to a random number, then back to your preferred setting.

Scoping-in with the dart gun prevents you from crouching and causes a visual bug if you try to crouch while scoped-in.
How to find this bug?
With the dart gun, scope-in then crouch. Repro rate is almost 100% for me on the first crouch after every scope-in animation, only rarely am I able to crouch while scoping which makes me wonder if it's supposed to be possible or not...
What should be happening?
Either no visual bug should appear while trying to crouch while scoping with the dart gun (like when you try to crouch with the riot shield up), or we should be allowed to crouch while aiming the dart gun which makes more sense.

How to find this bug?
Use one of three GPU's: 4090, 4080, 7900 xtx. Not all users with these GPU's have the problem, but it seems to only affect these cards. The game will run perfectly (200 + frames) but you will be playing on a slideshow. All other maps run perfectly.
What should be happening?
There should be no stutters, all the other maps run perfectly fine. There is something wrong with this specific map. Maybe as a remediation to this issue allow us to queue without Monaco in the pool as it makes an entire tournament unplayable if you get Monaco.

What is happening?
After a respawn my camera view is tied to another player from my team, but my HUD is still mine. I can still control my character as you can see at the begining of the video, I am the sniper who was running in front of the camera view. After updating the game, I was receiving the error TFGE0000. I tried installing previous graphic driver versions with no luck. It wasn't until I deleted all of my loadouts and joined a game with basic skins that I was able to join matches.

Update the game and get lucky I guess? maybe has something to do with having too many customized loadouts after the update as well.
Additional details
This may affect other TFGE# error codes like TFGE0001, TFGE0002, TFGE0003, and TFGE0004. If you are experiencing this, it wouldn't hurt to try deleting all loadouts and playing a match with default skins.

you will get shadow banned for using a crosshair overlay app, this happened in the beta also I'm not sure if its intentional or not and if it is, many monitors have a crosshair overlay option that are undetectable, which makes it annoying for me and I would imagine for other players I can use hudsight on valorant and rust with no ban but this game just has a problem with it, they wont give you a vac ban just leave you endlessly looking for a match

(Infinite Reloading Bug) Using SH1900 in test range: emptied both shells, repeatedly meleed canceling reload animation repeatedly. SH1900 appeared reloaded after including HUD displaying 2/2 but could not shoot. The riot shield sometimes covers the player's view while climbing over obstacles and seems to have a bugged animation

Climb over an obstacle at least as tall as the character with the riot shield equipped and selected
What should be happening?
The riot shield should stay on the left hand of the character, maybe even on their left flank. Currently is hides the view a lot, and we can see in slow motion that the animation does not really make sense as the shield leaves the left hand and kinda goes in between both hands for no reason. This and the fact it does not always happen is why I believe it's a bug.

Those false bans only affected PC afaik and werent actual bans, just the client misinterpreting a steam authentication error (as per my understanding). If its not telling you explicitly that you where banned its probably something else. Also, if it states a reason for why youre banned, thats probably important. Additional details: In the videos provided, it can be seen that moving the mouse slower causes the mouse to flicker more. I think this bug happened during the Open Beta as well.

Currently, when setting OCE for ranked as per.
#game-announcements message the queue will run endlessly, no ETA will be displayed in the UI when selecting the game type.

If we set Automatic for region we end up on Europe and in some cases Asia but only for ranked queue not for Tournament / quick play / bank it.

In regards to time/player base, we have highschool / university break, and can see a good population at both mid day and mid night.

Is there anything we can test/try on our side? More than happy to Guinea Pig.

Problem:
Keybinds would reset to default every round.

Solution:

1. Make sure game is closed.
2. Go to C:\Users\(your_username)\AppData\Local\Discovery\Saved\SaveGames
3. Delete file EmbarkSaveGameClientKeyBindings.sav
4. Open game, set keybinds.
5. Repeat step 2 and verify the file from step 3 was recreated.

That's a normal debug step / suggestion just to see if anything in the background was causing the problem. You can just enable them again if that doesn't work.
Disabling them does no harm, most programs that need those services will start them once you start the program.

Unless one of those services is extreme bloatware like the Razor software having them off won't even gain a single FPS on a modern PC that doesn't reach it's RAM limit.

Stuff that stops working with that is for example:
Razor Software
AdGuard
RIOT Vanguard
Stuff that needs to be in the auto-start or loaded before the user agent.

Not sure if it's a bug, but the Meteor Shower event when it occurs will start for like five to ten seconds when it becomes active and you will not see it for the rest of the match. So for a final event it doesn't really mix anything up because you don't even notice it.

1. Medium Jump Pad sometimes does not trigger when freshly placed. Moving off and onto it fixes it.
2. Throwing Knives are still blinking in Equipment Tab.
3. GAMEBREAKING! In Monaco the vault can spawn underground beside the church, leading to a unchangable win for the leader at the moment and to full round time.
4. Sometimes weapons do not want to reload after shooting. Have not yet found what could cause it.
5. Party-System bugs out a lot. Sending and receiving invites or seeing a search for a game does not work. Restarting the game fixes it. I suspect a lost connection to the lobby-system or something similar with no auto-reconnect.

Why is no one talking about unlocked emotes not being actually unlocked? I finished battlepass lvl 31 yet I still can't use the "rock on" gesture. More info for Embark devs, regarding TFLA0002, When trying to login, it seems the game client is also trying to connect to "https://client2pubsub.europe.es-dis.net" which also fails certificate exchange with "Bad Certificate". This website uses Googles cert authority, auth.embark.net uses Lets Encrypt so I am confident this is not an issue with my local certificate store.

Im using a full amd config and i just noticed that often times my character just wont move forward with the W button, i have to release and press again to start moving forward which is really annoying.
I noticed that if i use a button to hold crouch, if i crouch before moving forward, my character simply refuses to move forward until i release crouch again. But if i crouch while moving forward i can still move forward. If i use toggle crouch, this doesnt happen
After resurrecting a teammate, i have to release and press W again to start moving forward, otherwise it wont move.
And i cannot quite know after what actions, but i often notice that my character simply wont move forward and i have to release and press again!

The beta used DX11, while Live uses DX12 which might explain the issue you're having. What hardware does your computer use?
Also, have you updated your GPU drivers? The latest driver from Nvidia adds optimization for The Finals which people reports an increase in performance.

hello, I was playing a competitive Tournament and my game crashed before the Semi finals started. I was able to reconnect into the semi-final, however a message in the chat said that i left the game as I entered it. So in the tab menu the line with my name was clear, but I was in the game and could play as usual. However, after the round witch i could clutch to enter the final, I returned to the menu and became my weapon-points as if I just won a normal quick cash. even after a restard I couldn´t rejoin and my team had to play the final without me.

Guys - I fixed all my crashes tonight. Here is how and why.

Why crashing?
I'm 99% certain it's the dx12 implementation. This was my speculation initially as dx11 never crashed for me.
I initially disabled overclock on my GPU (clock speed) and crashing was reduced, so it made me investigate further.

What fixed UE5 ANGELSCRIPT_CALLSTACK exception crash
-DISABLED ALL VRAM overclocks, including vram timing back to default
-UNDERVOLTED my GPU.. but left a very tiny overclock on for stability (Im using 6800XT)
-Increased my GPU power intake to max (+15% on AMD GPUs)
-Update windows. They recommend it on their website even - it updates your DirectX with it
-Some people say to uodate your motherboard BIOS. I was already up to the newest version since a while so I cant comment on that

What fixed FULL PC CRASH
-DISABLED RAM XMP profile

Dx12 implementation in the finals seems to be VERY unsafe with memory management, hence the crashes. Removing overclocks and undervolting GPU increases stability (to a point) , and it seems especially helpful in this game

Disabling XMP profile on RAM removes ALL possibility of instability stemming from an unsafe implementation of the game. If GPU runs out of VRAM, it CAN tap into your normal RAM. So again, Im for now linking this to Dx12 being wack in this game.

Anyway hope this helps.
If you have no experience in system BIOS or overclocking/undervolting, consult a guide or someone with experience. You can harm your PC doing most things I mentioned above

Again, every PC is different so this may or may not work for you - but the takeaway here is - stabilize your GPu and RAM, and you should be good.

The TFLA0002 error is gone for me now guys.
What I did is I connect with different network (with the same pc / console), play a quick cash match once. After 1 match, I close The Finals (and since I'm using PC, I terminated the task from the task manager as well).
Next, I switch back to my old network, the game works fine now.

I guess you could try using tethered connection from your phone / use VPN for one quick game. Hope it works for you guys as well, good luck! 😉

1. Game play issue - Invisibility animation persists after timer expires. Character looks like gell but is still visible to enemies.
2. GUI issue - when applying cosmetic items or weapons, the selection is not saved. It must be selected a 2nd time to apply properly.

Side note: Great work with this game. I am truly enjoying it. Keep up the great work!

How to find this bug? I was screwing around in Practice mode and looking for ways to break the game because that's what I do when I'm bored. I was successful.

Additional details: This doesn't seem to work with mines, though with proper timing it could. Barricades work quite easily, and with a bit of practice I was able to reproduce this with maybe an 80% success rate. I know stacked goo blocks can support a chain of 15 - any more causes the chain to break. So I create a chain of 15, then add one more - causing the goo to break where it meets the wall. As the goo blocks disintegrate one-by-one, I time my barricade carefully and place it on a goo block just before it disintegrates. The barricade appears in mid-air and stays there, unaffected by physics. I can then climb upon and attach objects to the floating barricade. I made a floating goo raft. It was very cute.

I just had something weird happening in my game.
I have won in the first round of a ranked tournament. We got into the lobby, waiting for the other games to be finished when suddenly we all got disconnected.
After reconnecting we got put into a completely different server though. My teammates were the same but not even the 2nd place team made it into our game, there were only unknown full chinese players (im in EU). There was also a hacker in the winning team, there is a video on reddit from 16 hours ago of him cheating the same way he did in my game...but let's not even get into that, right? 🙃

I have 2 "Bugs":

1 is : "System integrity check failed" / anti cheat
2 is: kicked from server, Errorcode : TFLA0002

Are there any good Solutions for this bugs? I dont have this kind of bugs in any game i play.

I have encountered a consistent bug which causes my USB peripherals to "short out" for lack of a better word. Whatever's plugged into a given port stops working for several seconds at a time. I'm unsure what casues a specific port to be susceptible to this, as all of my ports are USB 3 afaik, but it currently causes me to lose audio for several seconds and previously (when my mouse was in one of the affected ports) it rendered the game literally unplayable. I've seen other people report that this is a problem specific to B550 motherboards, which I have, and it does not happen in other games/programs.

Can the Cloaking Device duration be reduced to 5 seconds.. Most players are invisible on the game most of the time and the duration of invisibility is too long that it's hard to kill them

this can happen with any form of input, I've seen people hijack bluetooth mice to fake mouse movements, works just the same as a modified controller in that sense

not sure if its been addressed but quick cash timer is very wrong, itll announce 10 seconds when you really only have 5, the timer also says 10 seconds and it always ends on 5 seconds instead
