Im 50/50 on that. While playing on a single map for all 3 rounds is good, gets you used to the cashout locations etc. Being able to swap between maps would be nice something different each round or maybe map 1 round 1, then map 2 round 2 then map 1 round 3? idk rn too tired lol

The destruction on Vegas is so good, like if the cashout is on the scaffolding above the strip you can use heavy’s charge to take out the 4 support beams in the center to knock it to the ground. If it’s in the parking garage you can take out the support beam near the ramp to destroy the whole thing. You can make an entire side of the hotel fall apart if you take out the right wall. every part of the map has a cool way to destroy it

map has a bunch of useless rooms and deadends, the map-default turrets are annoying and shouldnt be in ranked, the garage point that is in the back of the map with the default turrets and top railings are cancer bc you are forced to play inside the room because playing anywhere else will get you lasered by rooftop players, rotating on the map is a pain in the ass because of the rooftops and the middle of map is so open, sandstorm is okay but gives orange team a slight advantage as they blend in a bit, you are forced to dome shield on most cashouts because it is very easy to spam which reduces the amount of times u can actually use dome shield bc u need to make sure you have it for steal as the verticality play on the map is very broken, all other maps allow you to have varying playstyles but you have to play very fast on vegas because any team that respawns almost ALWAYS has an advantage bc of the rooftops and the respawning team can actually dictate how you rotate since the middle of the map is open and you will more than likely get beamed trying to rotate like this and good teams will run recon so they will see you everywhere and meet you at where you are trying to go, the parking lot point is hard to push through as there isnt much cover on the floors and the heavys shield just gets spammed trying to get to the point itself, and if you hard rush the point instead you will get beamed by any teams playing on the high ass rooftop north of parking lot point so you have to drop it all the way down, but doing that takes a lot of resources and effort and u have to clear out any teams that are also pushing which takes EVEN MORE team resources, and in general vegas is dogshit and plays very very differently compared to the other maps
at low level play, players will not notice the flaws on this map as it will appear as every other map with teams doing random/dumb plays without being coordinated, but in lobbies where people know how to exploit the advantages that they have with full team comms, it feels very bad to play on

Far side of Seoul skybridge is too easy to defend once you blow up skybridge and remove zipline due to the large open area. Only counter I've seen is jump pads, but you shouldn't have to rely on them.

Adding an underground level under the open area would make this part of the map more fair.

I mean, you can take the high ground instead, but once you get anywhere there's never an obvious entrance.

And even the entrances you do find are never near or on the same floor as the cashouts.
It's just a confusing mess.

At least with Seoul the staircases are in obvious places, are easy to spot, and there are often multiple of them leading to the same place.

Actually I like Sandstorm, enables diff types of movement and strats; I just wish there were other dynamic weather effects (or that the weather was a random element introduced during/throughout the level). IMO shouldn't be an exclusive modifier, weather/elements shoudl be its own class of add'l modifiers

The easiest way to fix it (at least partially) is to add more staircases to each building - like in Seoul - and place them in obvious locations in relation to the entrances.

Seoul is well designed, and there's no learning needed to get around. It's always obvious how to get to the cashout no matter where it spawns.

Whereas in Las Vegas, you can run towards a cashout, then realise you went the wrong way, need to turn around to find a staircase, and even then it's not a straight path to the point

There are a lot of ways to remedy that, many subways have maintenance doors and rooms that connect to other buildings/tracks and some even have large shopping areas attached so there are all sorts of ways to keep it from being too cramped 👍
