Part of me wants to draw miku with killas armor as it seems like it's lacking with just the tracksuit. But I can't for the life of me think how to get it too look right. Anyone got any tips?

only thing i'd say is that the plates are rigid so that will change the pose a little (and need to incorperate the rigid plates sticking out the back instead of flat curve)
and the arm confuses me since your way presents a sleeve? but the armor doesnt have one

with such a rigid thing she'd be wearing and the angle of the back, its gonna not be so horizontal on that waist section, itd naturally rise up at the back especially with the plates
since it cant really stretch if that makes sense

Is this the initial sketch? Or the linework about to infilled? If the latter, I would redraw the jaw, create a smoother line. Otherwise the bottom of his face appears lumpy. That is what stands out to me. The hands are wonderfully done! The proportion of each finger in conjunction to the palm is very satisfying.

Ooh ye ofc, I have a story for him but I can never get to fully writing it out.
He's a traveler who goes from universe to universe, to simply explore other cultures and potentially find a permanent, quiet home. Recently he found a place to stay (which I am hoping to draw out) in a quiet universe just to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Before he ever even considered exploring the world, he had a close friend, who he deeply cared about. But due to an accident that friend ended up killed, after which, Yimir could not bare the grief and decided to never build meaningful relationships again, as he didn't want to feel so heartbroken again.
At least that what I remember, his story is incomplete and I do need to work on it more, maybe I'll get to it some day.
His design is based of a raccoon, and I'm still thinking of how to show that better besides giving him a tail TwT

ye i noticed that watching doesnt work, best advice is draw from photos and real life, reference everything, even if u know it well. before i got injured, i made a lot of progress getting out of my comfort zone and drawing more original art, but i still heavily used refs, even if you dont have any, make one lol @eternal hill

Like i said previously this looks awesome, even more so now, that its finished. Since u asked for criticism, i will try and give u some. I hope u dont mind, but i did a little overpaint so u get to see visually and compare with your painting. The main thing that caught my eye was shading, it was a little inconsistent and sometimes made the art look a little flat. I would suggest downloading magic poser or other posing app, that has a lighting feature, since they help a lot. I chose top right as a lighting source, since it gives more of a dynamic look, i usually dislike top lighting since it makes it look boring. Also one more thing was rib cage extending too far out and head being a little too big, but idk if its stylistic choice, so ye. The cranium was a little too big for this angle, so i pushed it back a little too. Also i see u struggled to differentiate hand from torso and so on, so i added a rim light which can make smaller details pop more. Hope this helps. Keep up the great work, cant wait to see more ( now that i see it, i should have lowered the hair more, since i went a little too overboard on pushing the cranium, but hope u get the point still LOL)

I want to talk about people who consider themselves as "AI artists"
So what is an AI artist.
The AI artist is someone who uses AI to make a drawing by giving it a prompt
rather simple or detailed and this AI gives this person the drawing
thus calling themselves AI artist
well lets use the same concept with food
you "the customer" order food online and give details
the Chef makes the food and then it gets delivered to you
after that you call yourself a "phone Chef"
sounds stupid doesn't it ?
well the same goes with "AI artists"
I like How AI has developed over the years and life became easier than ever
and I don't mind using AI to generate art
I myself do it sometimes to use one as a reference or an inspiration
generating something chaotic or mix stuff together
does that mean that the person is an Artist

NO.

using ai to generate drawings does not make you an artist
and I myself do some drawings here and there but I don't ever dare call myself and artist
its just more than that
Artists are people who are creative with their minds and Can shape them into reality with their HANDS
