almost every single ship that is currently flyable can be bought with ingame credits, however freshly released ships are locked behind irl money paywall for about two to three months
at some point every ship released will be buyable with in game credits

I for example can make up to 300k credits per hour, most expensive ship costs a little over 32mil so you do the math how many hours it would take me to get it

but most of the ships that you will actually use for something do not go over 8mil credits, with the exception of one ship that costs 16mil and is one of the most popular choices for many crews

we are in a kind of expansion weirdness, usually we would see an expansion this time of year but its being pushed to next year so theres plenty of catchup time to take your time to go through story without worry about keeping up with end game

also free trial = base game + 2 expansions entirely free, no time limit so you can exhaust it with only a few limitations

but since you're a solo player it mostly wont effect you since it effects guilds/friends etc but other downside is no marketboard but you can always just sub once u feel you enjoy the game

The pve is a different mode. in this one, you and 2 other people go into a dangerous zone with a timer. You explore, look for obj and try to get roguelike kind of loot/weapons. The timer bar will fill 5 times with Contamination. That adds a modifier to try and kill you each time.
tbh its main issue is horrible unbalance and difficulty not feeling really there. The modifiers are also pretty meh/annoying instead of challenging.
I really wanted to like shatterline but it's just really really hollow as a result of the uninspired gameplay fps got stuck on for a while.
Also over the standard "your hero has a exaggerated personality with 2 abilities that change slightly with progression". It never feels impactful. I think the finals did a good job approaching this and innovating with light medium and heavy and the levels of loadout/overall customization

yea it was really fucking weird to build but it is such a nice little hut type thing. i was experimenting with building techniques and shit and thats what i built. i then wanted to build a much larger scaled version of it but it didnt turn out very well

start with the 45 degree and the other angle wood beams in weird angles and shit curving the entire thing out, the roof angles are also layered quite a bit overlapping multiple times. the inside is surprisingly decently spatious for how a lot of it turned out.
