From what I've experienced, it only occurs in like 10-30 second intervals every few minutes. Restarting probably just means you're missing the intervals. I've tried restarting and noticed no significant difference in frequency, intensity, or length.

Yes. My theory is it has to do with the weather in LA county since DURING one of the lag spikes I tabbed out, pulled up internet speed test, and then tested my internet. I got 6% normal download speed and low results on everything else as well. Tested again once the lag spike ended and I was back up to 100%

I don't think there is any air strafing or special techniques like that, best you can do is bhop to maintain speed when landing, and also hit the jump pad with as much as speed as possible to keep it for as long as possible (ex: popping evasive dash as you run into a bounce pad)

Zooming in is tied to your swap weapon keybind, scrollwheel by default. Whatever bind you have on that will be your zoom key also.
