the dynamic range that the audio produces in the game as a fight is breaking lose tends to get muffled or sound less linear because of everything else happening. directional audio issues however can be fixed with a headphones or earbuds that produces more accurate imaging.

Occasionally it’ll give you some valuable info but it’s not as core to the finals as it is other games, partly just because of the kind of game it is and partly because it’s a lot harder to tell if you’re actually hearing enemies footsteps or not
