Devs need to add a leaderboards for the highest amount of rounds achieved to add a sort of competitive factor in this game otherwise its gonna keep dying.

But in general, the Idea is to have Fun, not be competitive

But I still feel like having a general leaderboard would be nice for people who are trying to challenge themselves. Something like the one in nova drift

Leaderboarders ruin every game ever because it only makes the game fun for the .1% of players if done right. If done wrong, it makes a headache to deal with cheaters. Overall a waste of time and effort for the devs. Not to mention that it ruins the for fun aspect of a game.

A manual community leaderboard can be done at any time and doesnt have any downsides, there already is one... its called the builds and runs section.
Go try beating my 5.8 million single hit damage in 20 rounds or something.
Oh wait, that should come back to the biggest reason there will never be a leaderboard... this game entirely revolves around random chance.
