@cosmic token if you mean airships/submarines, you do need the first set to actually ‘make’ the airship/submarine since it’ll be too low level to use better pieces
For stuff past that, you can look at resources online to see BiS sets based on desired stats and maybe also minimal duplicate parts
Do note that you’ll need to unlock the recipes with items obtained from voyages at various sectors

@opaque pewter scratch what i said about buying facet gear, honestly ive been thinking about it, it would be about between 30-50k per piece and the entire set is 10 pieces not including the tool. so you're looking at like 350-500k in expenditures (not including melds) just to make whats in master book 7.
at that point you would just be better off buying the glamours yourself for the same price
just aim towards saving for asthete stuff if you're trying to buy your way into the stats
cause you'll be set for the rest of the expansion (and if you penta meld, you will be set from 80-90 in the next expansion)
