You simply go to the diadem and gather them
they're all grade 3 mats
Then you turn them in to the appraiser outside Diadem at the Diadem NPC counter
to turn them into approved grade 3 mats which you can craft with.

You don't need to minmax your gear if you just want your one BA clear.
BA isn't that tough. Even just bringing vermilion cloak is doing your part great. A lot of newbies wouldn't have vermilion cloak on them.

Mudra are on a pretty short cd so delay can easily mean missing uses, and can also screw over alignment in general as well, which is bad for not just you but for the rest of the party. You should generally be able to get away without having to use throwing dagger regardless.
