What Wynne said, basically. The only time that I'll ever hold Assize for longer than 5s is on TG Cid for the Doom mechanic because it's such a beefy ogcd heal and I can weave it with my other big gcd burst for a little extra healing to beat the timer.

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'.
