If I remember correctly you collect the initial quest from the quest giver. Then after you kill you don't have to hand it in. The quest giver will speak to you over a communicator to lead you to the next quest

yeah neo ishgardian/augmented neo ishgardian is more than comfortable to start on content

this is a catchup patch so the easy to obtain gear is a bit newer than the current endgame content, when 5.4 drops it'll bring new progression

Wondrous Tails are unlocked by speaking to the Unctuous Adventurer for the quest Keeping Up with the Aliapohs in Idyllshire upon reaching level 60 with at least one combat class.

Speaking with Khloe Aliapoh afterwards will give you a journal that has a series of random combat challenges to be completed which award you with a sticker that appears on the right-hand side of the journal. This journal can be accessed from the key items section of your inventory.

Your goal is to try and collect 9 stickers from completing those challenges. The stickers will appear in a random location on the 4x4 grid, but can occasionally align and form a straight line of 4, which can award you with additional rewards. Multiple line orientations are possible, with 3 lines being the most difficult to accomplish. Here is an image that shows how your stickers can be lined up so you can have the highest chance of 3 lines. Use the 'second chance' points you earn from completing content with new players to shuffle your 4x4 board around to try for 3 lines! 'How can I unlock Flying?'

Flying is unlocked through the collecting of a zone's Aether Currents, with every zone having ten 'green' Aether Currents found in the overworld and five 'yellow' Aether Currents obtained through the MSQ and side quests marked with a plus sign. Azys Lla is the only zone to not have any green Aether Currents. You must collect all Aether Currents in a zone to be able to fly.

Flying is unlocked in A Realm Reborn zones simply by completing the level 50 story quest 'The Ultimate Weapon'.

'Where can I find the green Aether Currents?'

Upon obtaining the Black Chocobo mount you are also given an Aether Compass, which is a key item you can use to locate the nearest non-quest Aether Current. Which Grand Company should I choose?

The only differences between the three Grand Companies are the looks of the equipment and where they're located. How do I get Grand Company Seals?

Once you are Sergeant 2nd Class you can turn in Pink/Green/Blue-rarity gear in exchange for more seals.

Check the NPC next to your current NPC

You trade Allagan Tomestone for Poetics for I-forgot-the-name, then trade 10 of those for weapons
