Yeah you can get some nice stuff from ranking up
easy access to glamour prisms and methods to trash old gear as examples
I'd focus on it a little at the start to get the former but you can relax and take a more relaxed approach to get the later stuff like the latter

A you only need to be geared enough for your MSQ level, don't worry about matching your gears with your job level. If you are lvl 52 story with lvl 60 jobs, just lvl 52 gear is fine, don't need to spend gils to get good lvl 60 gears.
B lvl 50-60 job quests are locked behind Heavensward story. Don't panic when you got your Paladin to lvl 52 and didn't see a new quest.

My question is, has anyone here been through similar? The system auto detected the fraud and suspended my account but not before whoever did it could steal both of my characters...
